Back to work & school
Hi everyone!
How are you all doing?
How was your Golden Week? Did you have fun? I hope so.
How many of you went to the Rycom Mall??? I did . . . TWICE! It is nice, and BIG!
If you are all worried about parking and waiting, don't. It probably isn't as bad as you think. I went on the second day after it opened, Sunday, and I only needed ten minutes to find a parking space! Not bad at all.
Inside it was quite crowded, but it was still fun to walk around and see all the shops. I especially like the Bic Camera store (Kojima) and the new sporting goods store, Sports Authority. That is a very popular store in America, and even in some places in mainland Japan.
Also, if you want to eat something new, Rycom Mall is the place. They have a ton of restaurants to choose from. Anything from local foods to Hawaiian and a thousand other things, they have it. It will be especially good to visit the mall for those with a sweet tooth. Wow! I'm not too crazy about sweets, but even I was tempted by seeing other customers eating such mouth wateringly delicious looking confections! Yum!
One thing I especially like about Rycom Mall is that it can be a good place to relax. Sure, when it's very busy with many shoppers it might be a bit difficult, but when it isn't overly crowded, there are many places you can sit and take it easy for a bit. That includes the top floor, which is an open air area with restaurants and a place for littler kids (or adults with little "kids" inside them) to play and have fun. As you might imagine, the view is quite nice as well.
So far, I've made use of the sporting goods store, the food court, one of the restaurants on the top floor, and taken in a movie as well. Hopefully I can visit again soon. There is a camera I'd like to buy! Shhh! Don't tell my wife!
Study hard!
